Joseph M. Bugajski
Mr. Bugajski is vice president of Global Standards and Interoperability at Visa International. Mr. Bugajski is responsible for worldwide interoperability of VisaNet data and applications and global service standards for transactions processing and payment data management. He chairs the OMG’s financial industry standards group, and represents Visa on ISO’s TC68 financial standards group. Prior to Visa, Mr. Bugajski was founder and CEO of Triada, Ltd., which specialized in high performance global business intelligence software for Global 1000 customers in a range of industries. His products provided advanced pattern analysis for fraud detection, personalization, problem diagnoses and market segmentation. As the youngest executive in Ford Motor Company’s product engineering group, he built a company within Ford that designed and manufactured prototype vehicles, including the Taurus, Ford’s all-time best selling model. Mr. Bugajski holds four patents and publishes in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He is an invited speaker and reviewer for major universities and technical conferences. Bugajski received a BS degree in Mathematics with high honors from Wayne State University and held elected office in his former home state of Michigan. |
