Erudite, Inc., today announces the EAC, a breakthrough in all-modal cargo systems. The EAC is stackable, smart, and secure. It functions equally well in the air, on land, and sea – making it the first all-modal container with built-in sensors and global communications.
According to Dale Hedrick, Director of Product Design, the “EAC represents the first true innovation in containers available to the US Department of Defense in more than a decade.” “The DoD needs a more efficient way to load, handle, and ship goods by air, land and sea. They also are seeking real-time information on cargo security, location, and inventory. This is simply impossible to achieve by adding tracking devices onto current intermodal containers,” said Erudite president, Bob Mooney.
Commercial and military customers moving high-value cargo will also benefit from the EAC’s security capabilities, derived from TransLock™, Erudite’s GPS-active digital locking system.
About Erudite Inc. Based in Tacoma Washington, Erudite is an emerging leader in cargo security and counter-terrorism technology and services.
